In this paper, we study a connection between disintegration of measures and geometric properties of probability spaces. We prove a disintegration theorem, addressing disintegration from the perspective of an optimal transport problem. We look at the disintegration of transport plans, which are used to define and study disintegration maps. Using these objects, we study the regularity and absolute continuity of disintegration of measures. In particular, we exhibit conditions for which the disintegration map is weakly continuous and one can obtain a path of measures given by this map. We show a rigidity condition for the disintegration of measures to be given into absolutely continuous measures.

In one-dimensional Diophantine approximation, the Diophantine properties of a real number are characterized by its partial quotients, especially the growth of its large partial quotients. Notably, Kleinbock and Wadleigh [Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 146(5) (2018), 1833–1844] made a seminal contribution by linking the improvability of Dirichlet’s theorem to the growth of the product of consecutive partial quotients. In this paper, we extend the concept of Dirichlet non-improvable sets within the framework of shrinking target problems. Specifically, consider the dynamical system $([0,1), T)$ of continued fractions. Let $\{z_n\}_{n \ge 1}$ be a sequence of real numbers in $[0,1]$ and let $B> 1$. We determine the Hausdorff dimension of the following set: $ \{x\in [0,1):|T^nx-z_n||T^{n+1}x-Tz_n|<B^{-n}\text { infinitely often}\}. $

This paper analyzes the initial value problem for the Toda lattice with almost periodic initial data: let $J(t; J_{0})$ denote the family of Jacobi matrices which are solutions of the Toda flow equation with initial condition $J(0; J_{0})=J_{0},$ then, the given almost periodic datum $J_{0}$ is a discrete linear Schrödinger operator with almost periodic potential, which plays a fundamental role in our considerations. We show that, under some given hypotheses, the spectrum of the Schrödinger operator is pure absolute continuous and homogeneous (measure-theoretically) by establishing exponential asymptotics on the size of spectral gaps. These two conclusions enable us to show the boundedness and almost periodicity in the time of solutions for Toda lattice equation with almost periodic initial data. As a consequence, our result presents a positive answer to the discrete Deift’s conjecture [Some open problems in random matrix theory and the theory of integrable systems. We consider the system $\dot {x}=(A+ P(t,\epsilon )) x, x\in \mathbb {R}^{3}, $ where $A, P$ are both three-dimensional skew symmetric matrices, A is a constant matrix with eigenvalues $\pm i\unicode{x3bb} $ and 0, $P(t,\epsilon )$ is $C^{m}(m=0,1)$-smooth in $\epsilon $ and analytic quasi-periodic with respect to t with basic frequencies $\omega =(1,\alpha )$, with $\alpha $ being irrational, and $\epsilon $ is a small parameter. Under some non-resonant conditions about the basic frequencies and the eigenvalues of the constant matrix and without any non-degeneracy condition, it is proved that for many sufficiently small parameters, this system can be reduced to a rotation system. Furthermore, if the basic frequencies satisfy that $ 0\leq \beta (\alpha ) < r,$ where $\beta (\alpha )=\limsup \nolimits _{n\rightarrow \infty } {\ln q_{n+1}}/{q_{n}},$ $q_{n}$ is the sequence of denominations of the best rational approximations for $\alpha \in \mathbb {R} \setminus \mathbb {Q},$ r is the initial radius of analytic domain, it is proved that for many sufficiently small parameters, this system can be reduced to a constant system.

We classify quasidiagonals of the $SL(2, R)$ action on products of strata or hyperelliptic loci. We use the technique of diamonds developed by Apisa and Wright in order to use induction on this problem.

This paper studies various aspects of inverse limits of locally expanding affine linear maps on flat branched manifolds, which I call flat Wieler solenoids. Among the aspects studied are different types of cohomologies, the rates of mixing given by the Ruelle spectrum of the hyperbolic map acting on this space, and solutions of the cohomological equation in primitive substitution subshifts for Hölder functions. The overarching theme is that considerations of $\alpha $-Hölder regularity on Cantor sets go a long way.

Let $(X,\mu ,T,d)$ be a metric measure-preserving dynamical system such that three-fold correlations decay exponentially for Lipschitz continuous observables. Given a sequence $(M_k)$ that converges to $0$ slowly enough, we obtain a strong dynamical Borel–Cantelli result for recurrence, that is, for $\mu $-almost every $x\in X$,

We address the inverse problem for holomorphic germs of a mapping of the complex line near a fixed point which is tangent to the identity. We provide a preferred parabolic map $\Delta $ realizing a given Birkhoff–Écalle–Voronin modulus $\psi $ and prove its uniqueness in the functional class we introduce. The germ is the time-$1$ map of a Gevrey formal vector field admitting meromorphic sums on a pair of infinite sectors covering the Riemann sphere. For that reason, the analytic continuation of $\Delta $ is a multivalued map admitting finitely many branch points with finite monodromy. In particular, $\Delta $ is holomorphic and injective on an open slit sphere containing $0$ (the initial fixed point) and $\infty $, where the companion parabolic point is situated under the involution ${-1}/{\mathrm {Id}}$. One finds that the Birkhoff–Écalle–Voronin modulus of the parabolic germ at $\infty $ is the inverse $\psi ^{\circ -1}$ of that at $0$.

We study the multifractal properties of the uniform approximation exponent and asymptotic approximation exponent in continued fractions. As a corollary, we calculate the Hausdorff dimension of the uniform Diophantine set

We define balanced self-similar quasi-round carpets and compare the carpet moduli of some path families relating to such a carpet. Then, using some known results on quasiconformal geometry of carpets, we prove that the group of quasisymmetric self-homeomorphisms of every balanced self-similar quasi-round carpet is finite. Furthermore, we prove that some balanced self-similar carpets in the unit square with strong geometric symmetry are quasisymmetrically rigid by using the quasisymmetry of weak tangents of carpets.
